Restoring Kingdom Builders is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that seeks to instruct and assist congregations to handle conflict - especially regarding the lead pastor and staff members - in a biblical and healthy manner.
Jim served as a lead pastor, teaching pastor, associate pastor, and youth pastor in 8 churches over a period of 35 years. During that time, he observed how people treat their pastor when they strongly disagree with him - sometimes choosing to remove the pastor from office involuntarily. Because of the damage inflicted on everyone involved in a forced termination effort, Jim longs to see churches handle such matters with truth and grace.
Jim is a graduate of Biola University (Bachelor of Arts), Talbot School of Theology (Master of Divinity), and Fuller Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, focus on church conflict). He resides in Sun City, California, with his wife Kim (although he's still a Giants fan!). Jim and Kim have two adult children, Ryan and Sarah.
